10 Apps to help you promote your business

Whether you have just set out in business or are a bit of a pro you will know that marketing your business is one of the most important keys to success, but you will also know that it can be very time consuming and take you away from your product or service. We’ve listed 10 apps to help you promote your business and that can help you save both time and money!

1. Canva

Canva is a graphic design app with a simple drag and drop interface meaning you can make professional looking designs for social media. The desktop version has much more functionality, including posters, business cards, web banner graphics and more. Plus, the basic version is free to use!

2. Square

 Square is an easy-to-use Point of sale (POS) credit card processing system. Unlike many other point of sale systems, Square does not charge any monthly fees, instead charges a % fee of each transaction making it ideal for small businesses who would traditionally be cash only.

3. Adobe Clip

Clip is a free to use App which allows you to create and edit amazing videos right on your mobile device.  These videos are then perfect for sharing on your favourite social channels!

4. Later

This intuitive and easy to use app saves you time by allowing you to schedule all your Instagram posts in one go.  Unlike most social media scheduling tools Later doesn’t send you notifications to remind you to post manually, the system is fully automated for Instagram business profiles.

5. Quora

Quora has many uses for any sized business, operating as a Q & A system it is a place where the public answer questions and experts give their answers. This means it is perfect for content creation. All you need to do is type in your topic, and see what questions people are asking about it. These questions then the sort of things you should be writing about as part of your blog.  As an expert in your field, you can also answer questions by people and really start establishing your self as an authority in a certain area, which can, in turn, drive more traffic back to your blog.

6. QuickBooks

It’s like having an accountant in your pocket! Calculate and track VAT automatically. Prepare then submit accurate returns from QuickBooks and always be HMRC compliant, plus you can manage your expenses and more.

7. Skype or Zoom

Any video messaging platform is great for business. Video calling means you can dramatically cut down travel time and take on clients and projects from much farther afield than traditional meetings.

8. Hootsuite

Hootsuite is another social media scheduling tool with an interface that takes the form of a dashboard enabling you to watch Twitter. It supports social network integrations for Twitter, Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, Google+ and YouTube.

9.MailChimp

10. Sign Easy

SignEasy is a cloud-based solution to sign and fill documents or get documents signed from phone, tablet or computer. Signatures done with SignEasy are compliant with the ESIGN Act as well as the eIDAS and the European Directive.
